Hikers Find Body Lying On Beach At Beluga Point

The body of an unidentified man was found late yesterday at Beluga Point on Turnagain Arm two miles south of McHugh Creek near mile 110 of the Seward Highway, Alaska State Troopers report.
Shortly before 6 p.m. yesterday hikers found the body, clad only In shorts, lying on the beach. Cause of death is unknown, troopers said today.
The man is described as being Caucasian, 18 to 25 years old 5-foot-10, 150 pounds with brown hair. The troopers ask that anyone who knows of a missing person fitting that description call them at 272-1561.
